Today's post is a general tip that every reed player should do. Most Saxophone and Clarinet players have a really bad habit of doing this. They forget to put cork grease on the neck cork or the tenon corks. Cork is like skin, and you must keep it hydrated. Not doing this can lead to your corks wearing down faster. So every time you play put cork grease on your cork.
